In 1950, Ian Ballantine, an American publisher, had the idea to open a publishing company in Britain to extend the reach of his imprint Bantam Books. He flew over to the UK on Transworld Airways and so Transworld Publishers was born.
Today, the Bantam imprint still exists and has been joined by Bantam Press, Doubleday, Channel 4 Books, Corgi, Black Swan, Eden Project Books and Expert and Transworld Ireland. Transworld Publishers has grown to become one of the most successful book publishers in the UK.
In association with Love Reading, we are giving you the chance to be one of three lucky winners to receive selection of TWENTY bestselling books from Transworld’s rich history.
